2-24-26 Eagala Education Hour | Facilitating Group Activities through the Eagala Model Part 1

Part 1: A Framework for Building Model-Aligned Activities

Activities in the arena aren’t games; they’re intentional tools grounded in the Eagala Model.

In this interactive Eagala Education Hour, we explore how to build group activities that stay anchored in client story, skillsets, and stages of change. Rather than relying on favorite exercises or pre-set recipes, this session introduces a practical, repeatable framework for designing activities from intentional “ingredients.”

Through facilitated discussion and live polling, participants deepen their understanding of:

  • Why activities are tools — not goals

  • How client story and readiness guide structure

  • The core facilitation skillsets that define impact

  • The four categories (Observe, Relate, Move, Create) and how they support change

  • A simple, step-by-step process for building Model-aligned activities

Whether you feel confident in group work or are still refining your approach, this session offers clarity, structure, and practical insight to strengthen your facilitation.

This is Part 1 of a two-part series. Part 2 explores application across specific populations.
