The training reviews elements of equine-assisted therapy as it applies to the 8 phases of EMDR therapy. There are video demonstrations of Safe Place, the EMDR standard protocol, and the Future template equine-assisted. The interactive discussions provide an opportunity for attendees to apply knowledge on tracking changes in the session and assessing the horse’s response.
The training includes interactive discussion activities with attendees to assist with the application of the integration of models.
