The Raleigh House of Hope provides treatment for substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and dual-diagnoses. Treatment is evidence-based and holistic, including individual, group, equine and experiential therapies.

We're seeking a fully licensed or license eligible Equine Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or LAC/LSW, LPCC, LMFTC, CAS) to join our Watkins ranch treatment team providing care for clients in residential (Detox and IRT) and partial hospitalization programming (PHP) for addictions and co-occurring disorders treatment.

The successful candidate will be a strong Equine Therapist with experience providing group and individual sessions incorporating equine therapy and traditional methods, dynamic, demonstrate insight, be able to shift between intervention models in order to meet the unique needs of each client(s), detail-oriented, and possess strong skills for follow-up. Services are robust, outcomes-focused, and individualized to each client and the needs of the milieu.

Provide group and individual equine therapy

Be able to articulate the dynamics, benefits, and application of equine therapy

Participate in multidisciplinary team supervision, preferred

This position may assist to provide weekend coverage for groups, intake assessment, crisis intervention, and ACA diversion

Assist with animal care during work hours

Minimum Education and Experience:

Must have a current Colorado professional counseling license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LAC) or be license eligible

EGALA certification

Must have experience as both an equine and traditional setting therapist

Minimum of one year of experience working in a substance abuse treatment environment, strongly preferred

Prefer residential treatment experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour
