A 65-page guide to a psycho-educational parenting program utilizing Eagala learning activities by StarrLee Heady, M.A., L.M.H.C.
Equine interactive learning can take parenting education out of the classroom and into the arena of living, breathing, feeling, and sometimes frustrating animals. These animals quickly become our Equine mentors. They help facilitate an understanding of ourselves in a parenting role by accepting, challenging, and teaching us about our own interactive selves. The reality of Equine assisted interactions, the non-sterile classroom environment, and the often unexpected responses of different Equine personalities allow insight and learning about how individuals handle the down and dirty job of becoming the best parent they can be.
